  • Students of the Month--Congratulations to the following Huskies that were chosen as November Students of the Month!

  • 6th graders - Ava Morack, Cian Evans

  • 7th graders - Elena Butler, Griffin Sanderson

  • 8th graders - Gretchen Freeman, Joey Wyant  

  • Scholar Bowl--Attention 7th & 8th graders: Are you a “book of knowledge?”  If so, come challenge your brain and try out for the MRMS Scholar Bowl Team.  This team is for 7th & 8th graders only and competes against schools from the surrounding Kansas City area. Tryouts will be December 10th, 11th, and 12th. You must attend all three tryout days to be considered for the team. Tryouts are in Mr. Day’s room(#713) Come and join our learning fun! See Mr. Day for a flyer with a permission slip. 

  • Candy Cane Sales--Hey all you Huskies!! It's the holiday season and STUCO wants to help support our community AND give you all a chance to enjoy some delicious candy canes! All week at lunch, candy canes will be available; they are 2 for $1 and all proceeds go to benefit our holiday projects. So bring your money and help out those in need while enjoying some yummy peppermint, Dum Dum, Sour Patch Kids or fruit flavored candy!!

  • Forensics & Debate--All 7th and 8th graders who are interested in trying out for the Forensics and Debate team, please plan on attending auditions on December 10th and 11th in room 502.  Please turn in your form on Monday, December 9th by the end of school.  If you want more info on what it's all about, there will also be an open house on Monday, December 9th from 3:00-4:00 p.m. in room 502.

  • Math TEAM Members--Our December math TEAM meetings are this Thursday, December 5th and Thursday, December 19th.  We will train after school this week and test on the 19th.  Don't forget to bring a snack. 

  • Thespians (Drama Club)--Any and all students interested in joining, please have your point record sheets turned in by Thursday, December 5th.  You can get a point record sheet from Mr. Leith.  Come in during PACK if you have questions on how to fill out the sheet.
