Announcements

  • Lost and Found--If you have lost items, please check the Lost & Found area in the back of the cafeteria.  ALL items remaining on Friday, October 18th, will be removed and donated. 

  • Book Fair--Hey Huskies!  Next week is the book fair.  We will be selling books, doing giveaways and hosting a book drive for Foster Adopt Connect.  Be sure to stop by the LMC to buy books and donate any gently used books.  The book fair will be open during student led conferences as well so bring your families to shop!  See you soon!

  • Attention all writers--Do you enjoy crafting stories, building plots, and creating characters?  Is poetry your thing?  Maybe you prefer journalism or investigative writing.  Moreland Ridge is celebrating writing with our new club, Write On!  If you are interested in collaborating with other creative writers, pick up a flyer from Mrs. Kroll or Mrs. Blocker.  Our first meeting with be on Tuesday, October 29th. 

  • Hey Project LIT!--Want to order a shirt but forgot to pick up an order form?  Swing by the LMC to pick up an order form.  We will be placing our order on October 31st, so don't miss out!

  • Fall Play--On Tuesday, November 5th, there will be a student performance of The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon from 8:00-9:50a.m.  In order to go, you must have good grades (no D's or F's) and you must be one of the first 250 people to buy a $2.00 ticket before school in the cafeteria.  Don't lose it...you'll need it to get into the show!  Check with your 2nd and 3rd hour teachers, as you'll need to make up all the work you miss.  No tickets will be sold after October 31st.  Hope to see you there!

  • Daughters of the American Revolution essay contest--The Blue Springs Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution is hosting the annual essay contest sponsored by the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.  This is not a classroom activity.  Your child's Social Studies teacher has information and rules for the essay contest.
