  • NJHS:  Attention all 8th grade National Junior Honor Society members. Our first meeting is this Thursday in the cafeteria. We start at 7AM. Bring your $15 dues if you haven't already paid. Please see Mrs. Twombly before Thursday if you have a conflict.

  • Student Council:  Attention Huskies! If you turned in a STUCO form, please plan to attend our first meeting THIS WEDNESDAY at 7:15 in the LMC. There will be lots of important info discussed, so don't miss it!

  • 6th Grade Math Club:  Tonight is our first Math Club meeting for sixth graders! Ms. Turner will be waiting after school in room 602 to begin our club games and activities. Remember we finish up at 4 o'clock.

  • Volleyball News:  The Moreland Ridge A team defeated the Maple Park Vikings last night 25-14, 25-11. Camryn Sorm was the top server in the first game with 9 points and 2 hits. Ava Gilchrist had 2 points and 2 hits. In the second game, Genesis Walker had 5 points and 4 hits. Abby Sullivan had 5 points and 3 hits. Jaelynn Tunley added 4 points and 7 hits. Good win, Huskies!

  • Last night, the Husky Volleyball "B" team beat the Maple Park Vikings in two sets. In the first set, the Huskies won, 25-11. Alexis Davis had 5 serves, Kinsey Small had 5 serves and Kenadie Scollin had 4. Mikayla Deville and Marley Pyle both had 2 hits each. Azia Galpin had some incredible saves! In the second set, the Huskies won 25-13. Haley Jackson was the top server with 7 points, and she also had 2 hits. McKenna Rusert also added 6 service points. Norah Oyler had 2 hits, and Zoe McVey had some great passes throughout the set. Excellent job, girls!

  • Fall Picture Day:  Lifetouch will be photographing students (in-person and virtual) and fall sports athletes on Thursday, October 1st.  To order picture packages online, go to mylifetouch.com and enter Picture Day ID# EVTV7H7V2. Students may also bring order form/payment on picture day. If you need another order form, please stop by the office.

  • Cross Country:  The Moreland Ridge Cross Country team ran at Campbell last night. The great weather and hard work brought in some stellar times. The following athletes all beat their times for personal bests on this course: Molly Hays, Sadie Holdcroft, Antonia Secola, Josiah Broyles, Isaac Miller, Bodie Burgess, Cayden Sutphin, Lucas Bultman and Leland Badder. Our next meet is Thursday for a mid-season Quad between the four Blue Springs middle schools.
