    • Major Saver: Students will be bringing packets home Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. Collections/card fulfillment will be daily from January 19-26. Distance Learners can also participate through the online campaign by doing the following:

      • All cards purchased online will be mailed directly to the customer

      • Participating students can earn prizes for online sales

      • Cards may be purchased from other areas

      • Validation dates vary for each district

  • Winter Guard: Reminder that tonight is the second audition clinic for the Moreland Ridge Middle School winter guard program! Please meet in the Freshman gym at Blue Springs South High School from 6-9PM this evening. See Ms. Bigge in the band room for an informational flyer.

  • Headphone Day: Hey Huskies! Headphone Day has been reschedule for this Friday! Don't forget to bring $2 and your headphones!

  • Student Council: Hey Huskies! If you love popsicles, STUCO has great news for you! We will be selling popsicles during lunch all week, January 25th through the 29th. They are 2 for $1 and we have all the great flavors. All proceeds will be donated to the Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics. Bring your cash and get your favorite treat all week!

  • Basketball News: The Moreland Ridge B team girls won against the Pleasant Lea Tigers last night, 28-11. Layla Kingcannon had 6 points and 7 rebounds. Mikayla Deville had 6 points, 4 rebounds and 5 steals. Casey Acers had 5 points and 2 steals. Sophia Hansen had 5 points and 5 steals. Olivia Allen had 2 points and 2 rebounds. 

  • Wednesday night, the A team took on the Pleasant Lea Tigers and could not get their offense going. The Huskies lost 18-31. Kaylee “Tear Drop” Norris led the Huskies with 7 points. Norah “Queen of the Boards” Oyler had 4 points and 7 rebounds. Jaelynn “Dribble Drive” Tunley had 4 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals, and Allie “Buzzer Beater” Swearingen had 2 points for the Huskies. Thursday night the girls will play their last regular season game against the Paul Kinder Grizzlies.
