  • 6th Grade Math Club:  6th grade math club begins next week. If you are interested in an after school activity on Mondays OR Tuesdays, drop off your permission slip to your math teacher. All sixth graders welcome. 

  • Volleyball:  The Husky B Team beat Ray-Pec South last night in two sets. In the first set, the Huskies won 25-7. Kinsey Small had an amazing nine serves. Kenadie Scollin also had an incredible nine serves in the same set. In the second set, Marley Pyle had seven serves, Haley Jackson had five serves, and Zoe McVey had fives serves as well. All of the girls played hard and had a great game! Great job, ladies!

  • Cross Country:  The boys & girls cross country teams competed last night in Smithville and had a tremendous showing! Bri Roush got first place overall in the Girls "B" race and Molly Hays, Ashlyn Wahrenbrock and Sadie Holdcroft were the top finshers in the "A" race. In the Boys "B" race, Roy Postlewait, Zyler Parks and Ethan Gilmore were the top finishers. Finally, the Boys "A" race included Kendrick Haines finishing the meet 2nd place overall with Cayden Sutphin and Josiah Broyles rounding out our top 3. It was a great meet by both of our teams!

  • Butterfly Island Garden Club:  Do you like to dig and plant? Would you like to see MRMS have some flowers and butterflies on our campus? Join our garden club for the Fall season of planting. We will meet for 4 sessions Tuesdays and Thursdays after school to maintain and continue to plant in our two island beds. Open to 6th, 7th, or 8th graders, but space is limited to 16, so see Mrs. Dreher in room 711 for an application form. The weather is warm enough so we will start our first meeting on September 29th. If you want to participate, don’t delay! 

  • Yearbook Club will begin on Tuesday, September 29th. All 7th and 8th graders are invited to participate. Please pick up an application in the front office if interested. All applications are to be given to Mr. Coleman. There are still extra yearbooks in the front office. You can get your own 2020 Yearbook for 35 dollars in the front office.

  • Fall Picture Day:  Lifetouch will be photographing students (in-person and virtual) and fall sports athletes on Thursday, October 1st.  To order picture packages online, go to mylifetouch.com and enter Picture Day ID# EVTV7H7V2.

  • Project LIT:  Are you ready for some book club???!!!! Project Lit is beginning! If you want to join Project Lit book club, swing by the LMC and pick up a form. We will meet virtually and Mrs. Pennington has some amazing author events we will be attending across the US all on our devices! We've had over 100 students join Project Lit each year, so don't miss out! Join today!
