Welcome MRMS 6th Graders!

6th Grade Curriculum Night is Tuesday, August 18th from 4:30-6:00 pm.

6th Grade Orientation Day is Thursday, August 20th from 7:50-10:50 am.

Curriculum Night Information:
During Curriculum Night, parents and students should meet in the gymnasium at 4:30 for a short meeting with the MRMS administration. After the meeting parents and students will have the opportunity to set up lockers, meet teachers, and walk their students’ schedule. Students are encouraged to bring their supplies to place in their lockers.

Please be sure to access your student’s class schedule online on the PowerSchool Portal or the PowerSchool App. If you are unable to access the schedule, please call our office.

Please note, due to very limited space, we ask that siblings not attend; this event is designed for parents/guardians and 6th grade students ONLY.

Orientation Day Information:
To assist with a smooth start to the year, we are hosting 6th Grade Husky Orientation Day at MRMS on Thursday, August 20th. This event is strictly for incoming 6th grade students. The event will begin at 7:50 a.m. and conclude at 10:50 a.m. here at MRMS. Bus transportation will be provided for this event, or students can be dropped off at the front of the building beginning at 7:45 a.m.

If your student plans to take the bus on Husky Orientation Day, it's important for students and families to know bus stops and bus numbers. The buses will follow the same route they use during the school year. Therefore, the bus stop used on Husky Orientation Day will be the same stop your student will use on the first day of school.

If you don't know your bus stop number or bus number visit the BSSD Transfinder website at: https://www.infofinderi.com/ifi/?cid=BSRS4L1SGNZ8A

During 6th grade Husky Orientation Day students will meet teachers, counselors, and administrators; tour the building; and learn about the culture, expectations, and opportunities at Moreland Ridge Middle School. Students do not need to bring any supplies or materials for this event.

We look forward to seeing you and your students!
