Announcements

  • Spelling Bee--Congratulations to our winner, Kate Blaine, and the runner up Addie Hunt!

  • Did you know that today is World Kindness Day? In 1998, World Kindness Day was formed with the goal of promoting kindness throughout the world. According to the founders, “The day’s purpose is to highlight good deeds in the community focusing on the positive power and the common thread of kindness which binds us.” Let’s do our part to spread kindness in our school community. Please take a moment to think about how you might show kindness toward others. Even the smallest gesture can brighten someone’s day. Have a wonderful Wednesday, Huskies.

  • Daughters of the American Revolution essay contest--The Blue Springs Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution is hosting the annual essay contest sponsored by the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.  This is not a classroom activity.  Your child's Social Studies teacher has information and rules for the essay contest.

  • Thanksgiving Break--No school November 27-29!
