    • Major Saver: Students will be bringing packets home Tuesday or Wednesday of this week. Collections/card fulfillment will be daily from January 19-26. Distance Learners can also participate through the online campaign by doing the following:

      • All cards purchased online will be mailed directly to the customer

      • Participating students can earn prizes for online sales

      • Cards may be purchased from other areas

      • Validation dates vary for each district

  • Chess Challenge: Do you like playing Chess? If so, join us for the Blue Springs Chess Challenge on February 27th. Entry is free for all grades K-12. Click Here for More Details 

  • Student Council: Hey Huskies! If you love popsicles, STUCO has great news for you! We will be selling popsicles during lunch all week, January 25th through the 29th. They are 2 for $1 and we have all the great flavors. All proceeds will be donated to the Polar Plunge to benefit Special Olympics. Bring your cash and get your favorite treat all week!

  • Intramural Volleyball: Attention all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders interested in intramural volleyball - we will start on Monday, February 1st, with 6th graders. You must have a signed form returned in order to participate. Forms are due back no later than Friday, January 29th, and can be picked up from Ms. Spengler in room 614, or the front office. Limited spots are available for each grade (first come, first serve). Please see Ms. Spengler if you have any questions.

  • Basketball News:The B team Huskies won big last Thursday against the Paul Kinder Grizzlies. The Huskies won 49-12. Mikayla Deville set a new scoring record for the B team with 23 points, 5 assists and 7 rebounds. Olivia Allen had 8 points and a steal. Casey Acers had 4 points, 2 rebounds and 2 steals. Sophia Hansen had 4 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Addie Hoch had 4 points and 5 rebounds. Layla Kingcannon had 4 points and 3 rebounds. Samantha LeTourneau added 2 points and 2 steals. Great job, Huskies.

  • Monday night, the Girls A team took on the number 1 seed, Kearney Bulldogs, and took the lead the first 5 seconds of the game and never trailed, winning 33-26. Jaelynn “Base Line” Tunley led the Huskies with 9 points and 7 rebounds. Kaylee “Tear Drop” Norris added 8 points and 3 rebounds. Norah “Can’t Miss” Oyler had 5 points, 5 rebounds and did not miss a shot from the field. Briley “Queen of the Boards” Tiller had 4 points and 8 rebounds. Alyssa “Bank Shot” Guadagnano scored 3 points, 3 rebounds and 3 steals. Anna “The leaper” Lamanno put in 2 free throws and had 3 steals, and Allie “Nothing but Net” Swearingen added 2 points and 1 rebound.

  • The B team Girls won their first game in the Osage Trail tournament. The Huskies defeated Smithville 31-15. Mikayla Deville had 12 and 5 steals. Casey Acers had 6 points and 4 rebounds. Addie Hoch had 4 points and 3 rebounds. Katelynn Grisafe had 3 points. Sophia Hansen had 3 points and 6 steals. Layla Kingcannon had 2 points and 3 rebounds.

  • Math Team: The newly formed 6th grade Math TEAM will begin meeting this week. Ms. Turner plans to see the selected students Tuesday AND Thursday of this week! Dismissal at 3:50 pm each night. See you in room 602.
